SAEMS was established in 1433 AH – 2012 under the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties based in Riyadh. At the beginning, it was operated by group of paramedics and EMTs in the emergency medical services profession. SAEMS aims to promote and develop the EMS role within the community and quality improvement of the emergency service that has been provided by EMS professionals to guarantee patient safety and better outcome. SAEMS looks forward into playing a pioneering role in educating the community about the importance of emergency medical care.
